I do not mean to be throwing up numbers all over the page, but numbers do not lie people, there is illegal immigration all around us! The only facts about immigrants that are worth mentioning is the fact that some are legal and some are not. The legal immigrants are completely fine, because they are not messing up the system, they are just trying to participate in the land of the free just as you and I do, and you cannot blame that for that. There is nothing wrong with this, it is the illegal immigrants that cause this never ending debate to be so daunting.

Speaking of Deferred Action, let us talk about something known as the DREAM Act. President Obama and immigration laws that he has pushed for have not exactly been a fan favorite, But there is always going to be ways around immigrants laws, so why not find a middle ground. The DREAM act is like permanent residency for an immigrant, under certain conditions. But until this is in effect, deferred action allows people to work and stay in the United States without documentation for at least two years.
How to become an immigration attorney might eventually require you to know all the aspects of this DREAM Act as well. To qualify for a shot at the the DREAM Act, you must show proof of having arrived in the United States before age 16. Proof of residence in the United States for at least five consecutive years since arrival, you must be between the ages of 12 and 35 when the bill is put into action, be bale to prove that you graduated from an American high school or god a GED, and if you are a male, you must register with the Selective Service in case of draft, and last but not least, be of good moral character.
If a person meets all of the qualifications, they then will qualify for this conditional residency, and will have up to six years to complete either two years of post secondary educational or military service. Once all of these things are done, then they can finally get permanent residency and become a U.S. citizen. This seems like a fair option for illegal immigrants, and I do not understand why people would be against it.
